Celebrating 40 years of custom kitchen and bath design services in Virginia

Ideal Cabinets recently celebrated its 40th anniversary with an open house and unveiled the newly remodeled downtown Christiansburg, VA showroom. Owners, Ken and Virginia Rakes, and the rest of the Ideal Cabinets staff were all smiles as clients, business partners, and product representatives mingled about wide eyed as they took in the latest styles in cabinetry, countertops, lighting, and flooring. Store manager and designer responsible for the elegant showroom update, Keith Horne, basked in the glow of 8 new kitchen additions for a grand total of 22 kitchen, bath, and office displays. With every style, option, and budget displayed within this well rounded showroom you are sure to find something to suit your taste. Ideal Cabinets would like to thank its many business partners who contributed to the showroom update.

Both Wood-Mode and Brookhaven feature solid wood doors and multi-step finishing processes, and both are available in traditional framed construction — where the door is mounted on a front frame — and contemporary frameless construction — where there is no face frame so the door is mounted on the cabinet case itself.
