On Thursday, June 4th, employees from Ideal Cabinets came together to sign the wall of a new home in Roanoke. The first wall that would be raised on this home the next day. This isn’t just any new home though, it is very special. This is a Habitat for Humanity Home sponsored by WSLS Channel 10; JES Foundation Repair; Bower Heating & Air; Boxley; MRI Mountain Roofing; Prillaman Mechanical; Marvin, and Bank of Botetourt and of course, yours truly, Ideal Cabinets. We are honored to join with these partners to build this home and work on a project that is so important.
If you are not familiar with Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley, there Mission is simply this: Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Since 1986 Habitat for Humanity in Roanoke has helped build a community alongside diverse people from every walk of life. They believe that everyone deserves a safe home that can serve as a foundation for education, professional achievement and personal growth for them and their families.
We are excited to help them build this home for the Warren Family this year, and are looking forward to every part of the journey.
