We hear the term legacy quite frequently. The media applies the term to different people from all walks of life from politics to sports to discuss their legacy. We often here the term from people we know personally as they get older and wonder what their “legacy” will be to the their children and grandchildren. How will they be remembered ? Did they make a difference ? It is something we may all wonder about at some point in our lives.
To understand something fully, I always go to the actual definition of the word first. Legacy is defined as “a gift that is passed on to the next generation.”
