We are proud to be able to partner with Straight Street Roanoke Valley, a wonderful ministry in our community, to donate cabinets that will be used to serve meals to the youth of our area. We love working with local organi
zations to serve our community. Let us tell you a little bit more about Straight Street.
The mission of Straight Street is “to provide a positive Christian environment where at-risk* youth can go and obtain the necessary skills and training needed to mature and to discover God’s Divine plan for their lives.” They try to do this in four ways : (1) Physically, by providing opportunities for entertainment, exercise, and service. (2) Emotionally, by offering a safe place to meet and develop healthy relationships and find help for unhealthy ones. (3) Intellectually, by assisting youth with supplemental educational resources and encouraging them to take full advantage of educational and employment opportunities. (4) Spiritually, by demonstrating Godly principles for living fulfilled lives, and by leading youth to meet and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and friend.
Straight Street thanked us recently for “the amazing new portable cabinets”, but it is us at Ideal Cabinets who are thanking them for the great work they are doing in our community.
